ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Automation who will act as a Dedicated Engineer. To be successful as a Sr. QA Engineer, you should have experience in automation testing. Brief understanding of testing approaches. Good communication skills are required. This individual will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn and share knowledge.

Sr. QA Engineer – Automation obtains the requirements for all business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.  This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements.  Sr. QA Engineer – Automation is responsible for the testing, deployment, and post-production support of some business reports.

This is an Onsite role with rotating shifts.

What you will do:

• Perform requirements analysis and create test plan.
• Should be able to decide testing and automation testing process along with automation tools and framework based on project requirement.
• Work with development team to have effective testing.
• Help in developing test suite, which creates confidence in delivery. E.g. covering the scenarios which are critical to business, covering all aspects.
• Define processes to capture bug report, analyze and apply knowledge to strengthen test suites.
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment.
• Adaptability to new testing technology.

Who you are:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Experience with Cucumber is MUST.
• Develop test automation strategy for large complex projects in AGILE methodology.
• Design Test Automation, Execution and Lead automation delivery using HP QTP, Selenium and Cucumber tools.
• Designing, creating Constructing and executing Automation test cases for API web services.
• Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management.
• Collaborates with product line stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands.
• Work with the development team to understand the technologies and develop / implement automated testing tools for data comparison and transformation (on Hadoop, Spark, Datameer etc.).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience of working on multiple projects in more than one testing environment.
• Leading product release QA cycles, including creating and tracking to QA release plans, coordinating team resources & activities to efficiently & effectively deliver high release confidence based on deep, broad comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop Test Strategy and Plan of the Common Acquisition Platform.
• Knowledge and experience with UNIX shell scripting languages utilizing solid coding practices (code re-use, functions, and comments.
• Should have good experience on performance tools like jmeter and load runner.
• Should have good experience on api testing tools like postman and RestAssured.
• Mush have good understanding of Database testing.
• Must have good understanding of ETL testing.
• Must have good understanding of security testing.
• Should be good in Risk analysis, Requirement gathering, team management.
• Should have experience on Devops.
• Troubleshooting code issues & conducting Code reviews.
• Mentoring junior members of the team.
